ABOUT ME
I am a 4 - term Judson ISD School Board member, elected for my first time in 2010. I was re-elected in 2013, 2017, and 2021. As I seek my 5th term, the challenges facing education in Texas are greater than when I first arrived at Judson ISD. I remain focused and passionate about leading our proud district through the perils and obstacles that are barriers to student achievement.

WHERE I COME FROM
I am a proud military dependent moving from Air Force Base to Air Force Base for the first seventeen years of his life. I attended Kinder in Incirlik, Turkey, elementary school in Washington D.C., middle school in central Louisiana, and high school in Zwiebruken, Germany before receiving my high school diploma from John Jay H.S. in San Antonio.
I enlisted in the Air Force out of high school and proudly served as a Mental Health Specialist and Medic.
When my term ended, I pursued a degree at Alamo Colleges. I remember how difficult the road was in college. "I felt so under prepared for college and subsequently failed every course my first year in college." I eventually pulled it together earning an Associate's Degree from San Antonio College and a B.A in Business Management from Our Lady of the Lake University.
A CAREER OF COMMUNITY SERVICE

I have spent over twenty years in the non-profit sector. I currently serve as an Executive Director for UNITY37 Coalition, a non-profit focused on breaking the cycle of poverty on the Westside of San Antonio. We serve middle school aged students and their parents.
